4th Annual Food Truck Round Up

Bellingham loves it’s food trucks! We might love them as much as we love our local micro-breweries that many the food trucks park at during the week. There is certainly something to be said for the variety, ingenuity and creativity that goes into the ever-expanding world of food trucks. Maybe it’s the novelty of a portable restaurant on wheels that captures our imaginations, but it’s probably more about the delicious food they have to offer. So with that, it’s time again to round up Bellingham’s local food trucks for the 4th Annual Food Truck Round Up, a benefit for Whatcom County Food Banks, presented by Ben Kinney & Keller Williams Realty.

This year’s round-up event features many of Bellingham’s favorite food trucks, a beer garden serving Kulshan Brewing Co. beer, a fun family area hosted by Nature’s Path Foods and live music by SpaceBand on the Haggen Food & Pharmacy stage at Civic Stadium. This family-friendly event presents a fun opportunity to try food from local mobile eateries as well as support a great cause with all proceeds raised at the event being divided between over a dozen food banks serving all areas of Whatcom County.

Pre-sale tickets and “Truck Bucks” will be available at all Industrial Credit Union branches and Kulshan Brewing Co. locations until this Friday, the 23rd. Pre-sale tickets are $7 each and include a custom Food Truck Round Up Pint Glass! Pint glasses are only available while supplies last, so make sure to get yours early.

This year’s event is anticipating to exceed all previous totals, thanks in part to the announcement that Ben Kinney and Keller Williams Realty has promised to match event proceeds for the 3rd year in a row. So invite your friends and bring your checkbook because all event donations will be doubled. Thank you in advance for helping us Feed the Need!
