37th Annual Holiday Festival of the Arts
With Halloween over and done, it’s time to start planning for all of the fun and festive activities of the Holiday season here in Bellingham and Whatcom County. It seems like every year the holidays sneak up on us earlier and earlier. Maybe that’s just everybody bursting at the seams with the holiday cheer that just can’t wait to come out and fill us all with joy.
Whatever the case may be, Whatcom County’s own Allied Arts is ready to kick off it’s 37th Annual Holiday Festival of the Arts next Friday (November 18th) and keep the holiday spirit going strong through to Christmas Eve. That’s Right! Five whole weeks featuring the work of over 100 local artisans and craftspeople. The affordable, locally handmade products range from jewelry, paintings, wearable art, specialty foods, and art from found materials.
The festival will be open from 10am – 7pm, seven days a week. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, fill your weekends with live local music, artist demos and workshops, and bring the kids in for fun free family art projects. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get all your holiday shopping done under one roof and support local artists at the same time!
This year’s Holiday Festival of the Arts is located at 4145 Meridian Street next to the Burlington Store.
