It’s time again for everyone’s favorite parade of all things green! This Saturday, March 12th, it’s the Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade and everyone is invited to come dressed in their favorite green outfit and join in. Every year this nonprofit, community-wide event honors all of our local public safety personnel by celebrating and inspiring sustainability in the hope of making our city a cleaner, greener and safer place we call home The parade is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community as hundreds of residents and visitors flock to the streets of downtown Bellingham. Xavier’s School Bellingham Album Release Show
Thursday, March 3rd, local Bellingham band Xavier’s School will be playing their first full-length album release show at Make.Shift Art Space. The show will also kick off the first leg of the band’s three stop Northwest tour, taking them to Magma Fest in Seattle the following night and rounding out the tour at Camp Daze in Missoula, Montanta that Saturday. The album titled “Stay Bold or Get Old” will be available at all of the stops on the tour. 6th Annual Valentine’s Day Cover Show @ Make.Shift
It’s the month of love, which of course means that Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching! But there is another annual event that happens in Bellingham every February, the all-ages Valentine’s Day Cover Show at Make.Shift Art Space. Every year, local musicians get together to form cover bands of some of their favorite groups to perform in front of a large crowd.
