Save water this Summer when brushing
Summer is officially upon us. The sun is out, the heat is up and everyone has on their bright and shiny smiles. You already know that brushing everyday is the best way to keep your smile at it’s best. But sometimes we can forget to turn off the water when we’re brushing. Did you know that you can save 2-5 gallons of water just by turning of the faucet every time you’re brushing your teeth? That’s a lot of water! Water we can use to help our beautiful Bellingham community stay green. That’s something we can all smile about.

How to clean baby teeth?
A baby’s mouth is the cleanest mouth in respect to levels of bacteria. We all know that disease is communicable (ie kissing the wrong person or sharing spit) and you can get disease whether that is cavities or gum disease or viral herpes. Same goes with your baby! Does someone in your family have gum disease or a herpetic lesion like a cold sore? Sharing food, drink, or kisses will transfer and then your baby has rotten breath.  So gross but so true. Smell your babies breath. Does it smell? Probably not (or I hope not) because it has no stinky bacteria! How do you think your baby gets cavities? They…
