Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema Presents Labryinth And More
As July comes to a close and Summer finally decides to heat up for us here in Whatcom county, many are looking for outdoor activities to take in. An local annual favorite is the Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema and this Saturday’s feature film, Labyrinth, is a cult classic not to be missed on the big screen – especially for any youngsters who’ve yet to experience the brilliant cinematic blend of David Bowie and Jim Henson’s iconic array of characters.
This is Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema‘s 17th year of bringing fun, family-friendly outdoor entertainment to the community. Presented by Ben Kinney & Keller Williams Realty, Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema offers a different feature film every Saturday evening throughout the Summer in the Fairhaven Village Green. The event is just $5 per person and includes live entertainment, vendors, activities, prize raffles and of course a great movie once the sun goes down. Children 5 and under get in free. Blankets for watching on the grass are highly encouraged to allow everyone a good view of the show.
The events kick off around 7:30 PM each Saturday so be sure to claim your spot on the lawn early! The film series runs every Saturday until Aug. 27th with five more movies left to catch this year.
