Bellingham Dental Group Team
Dr. Parker Haley
Dr. Haley loves dentistry! His passion began growing up in Ketchikan, AK. Then continued during High School where his family moved to Bellingham in the early 90s. He attended Meridian High School as well as Whatcom Community College. He then proceeded to the University of Washington earning a triple degree in Neurobiology, Biochemistry, and Political Science. He overlapped his training with electrophysiology at the University of Washington Neurophysics department performing brain surgeries on neonate mice to advance research in healthcare under the guidance of one of the associate deans of the University of Washington School of Medicine. He stayed and earned is Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Washington. In other words, he is a giant nerd. He needed to slowdown and bring in perspective the true meaning of life which is family. He moved back to Bellingham and his amazing wife, Amy Haley, is a practicing Pediatrician at Peacehealth. He has two beautiful children Heidi and Hudson as well as two dogs Sami and Sparky. Parker and Amy participate in all running activities in the nation including 200 mile relays, marathons, half marathons, 10k, and 5k races.
Dr. Mandy Alamwala
Dr. Alamwala grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She attended the University of British Columbia. Dr. Mandy then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Her warm personality in tandem with her attention to detail and technical expertise makes her a great addition to the Bellingham Dental Group family. She currently resides in Everson, WA with her wonderful husband Jag. Dr. Alamwala is a true foodie of Bellingham. Just ask the doc what her favorite restaurant spots are downtown to grab a good bite.
Dr. Tina Fu
Dr. Fu is from Seattle and went to the University of Washington, double majoring in Biochemistry and Economics. She then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Fu is dedicated to providing comprehensive and customized dental care to patients of all ages. In her free time, Dr. Fu and her husband enjoy spending time with their family and friends, cooking, and hiking with their dog Bear. She currently drives a Subaru Forrester, which allows her to blend into the Bellingham culture.
Jessie, RDH
Jessie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who attended the Bellingham Technical College. She grew up here in Whatcom County and have called it her home for most of her life. Her husband, Seth, and her have two playful boxers, Cooper and Harlan, who keep them well entertained. During her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, camping, and fishing. She also relaxes with a good book, working out, and spending time with family and friends. Patients continue to compliment Jessie on her gentle touch and thorough treatment.
Cheyanne, RDH
Cheyanne is a Registered Dental Hygienist who came to us from Walla Walla, Wa. She attended Walla Walla University for two years and then went on to Yakima Valley Dental Hygiene School to complete her Associates in Dental Hygiene. Next, it was on to Eastern Washington University to complete her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree.
After seven years on the East side of the mountains she and her husband were thrilled to head back to the green side of the state. With so many outdoor opportunities, Bellingham was calling their name. Besides dental health, Cheyanne is passionate about traveling and exploring new places, whether it’s backpacking, hiking, or jetsetting around the world. She has two furbabies, Mowgli and Frankie, who also keep her busy.
Aaron, RDH
Aaron Robinson is a Registered Dental Hygienist. He received an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2004 in Portland, Oregon. He then sat the Australian Dental Council’s Examination for Overseas Educated Dental Hygienists in 2013. In these 12 years of clinical experience he has provided over 20,000 hours of direct dental hygiene services and patient education.
Aaron has a diverse background in dentistry, having worked for 8 years in a multidisciplinary office that hosted a litany of specialist dentists on a regularly rostered basis. Through his tutelage under the auspices of these seasoned professionals, he has developed a great appreciation for all aspects of dentistry and what they can mean for healthful and beautiful outcomes.
Aaron’s personal interest has always centered on the management and continued monitoring of the gum/bone/tooth interface, which is the core foundation upon which all other dental work relies upon.
A firm believer in providing top-notch patient care, Aaron prides himself in being able to create an atmosphere of warmth in his surgery, striking a harmonious balance of knowledge and understanding. Aaron believes that his years of customer care in the hospitality industry while undertaking his university studies were amongst the best lessons that he ever received, and the most influential in his ability tailor his communication with others to be meaningful and effective in any setting and context.
Alyssa, Management/Administration
Alyssa was born and raised in Southern California. She misses the sun but loves the rain. She moved to Bellingham, WA because she loves the outdoors and cannot live without the trees, mountains, and the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. She is a newly wed with a three year old beagle named Meatloaf. On the weekends she loves to catch up with family and go for morning coffee walks, hike the beautiful trails of Bellingham, go for an afternoon jog, or explore downtown Vancouver, BC. At the dental practice, one aspect of her job that she enjoys the most is making strong connections with our patients. She loves providing exceptional service to everyone that walks in our door or on the phone. She pays attention to detail and will ensure that you leave the Bellingham Dental Group with a smile.
Jo, RDA/Administration
Jo Jo grew up in Whatcom County and resides in the lovely town of Acme. She attended the Bellingham Technical College and through her excellent referrals and high academic achievements we couldn’t wait for her to join our team. Her passion beyond dentistry lies in her equestrian background and her numerous accolades. If you have a question about horses just ask Jo!
Rachel, RDA/Administration
Rachel was born in Orange County, CA and grew up in Birch Bay, WA. She attended the Blaine school district and after high school moved to Seattle for the past 12 years where she picked up dental assisting. She moved back home and is excited to be back home. Rachel loves traveling and has tallied 10 countries thus far. She is a great salsa dancer and she fends off the undesirables with the art of Jiu Jitsu.
Nicole, RDA/Financial Liason
Nicole grew up in Bellingham, WA and as a child she was always loved going to the dentist. Eventually those experiences led her down the career path as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She has worked as an RDA for 12 years. She loves to educate, motivate, and encourage each patient based on their individual needs. The most rewarding part of her job is helping others gain confidence in their smile. When she is not with the dental team you can find her gathered amongst family and friends around a big feast, or driving off into the mountains with her sleeping bag. She is a huge lover of the outdoors, cooking on an open fire, kayaking in the harbor, photographing just about everything, and getting her hands into every DIY craft possible.
Tina, RDA
Tina has been working as a dental assistant for 15 years graduating from the PIMA Medical Institute. She loves all facets of the dental field from pediatrics to oral surgery. She finds helping patients extremely rewarding. She has three wonderful sons. Tina enjoys volunteering, kayaking, hiking and yoga.
Hannah, Administration
Hannah grew up in Bellingham, WA and attended Gonzaga University earning her bachelors degree. Her ultimate goal is becoming a dentist and returning to Whatcom County.
Courtney, RDA
Courtney was raised in Skagit County where she enjoys the outdoors. On her off time she endulges in the delights of Netflix and will soon appreciate the joys of the HBO hit: Game of Thrones.
