Do you have coffee, tea, or wine stain?
Have you looked in the mirror and saw staining on your teeth? We can only blame it on environmental factors such as tea, coffee, and wine, but what if you are not drinking tea, coffee, or wine. Indian food uses exciting spices and curries that can cause staining. Asian food uses soy sauce and other sauces that can stain. With all the varieties of food available you can only imagine the build-up your teeth can experience. To prevent staining simply brush after each meal to decrease the exposure time. For all those morning cafe’ and tea drinkers at home, drink first then brush your teeth. To all the Starbucks and Woods Coffee lovers simply use a straw. For wine switch from red to white. We are not saying staining is bad for you, however repeated exposure to staining causing foods and drink will cause permanent staining that cannot be removed. The last thing we want is for someone to come to the office and ask, “You see this black spot? Can you buff it out please?” We then try and are unsuccessful. 🙁 Get in soon to the dental office and get a good pumice scrub and teeth cleaning.
